I am an Artist, and I always have been.

Where are you from and where are you now?

I was born in Trinidad, near Saparia, was raised in Montreal, and Hamilton, Ontario, and I now live in Miami Beach;and now Oakland Park, but I feel like my soul has always been from someplace else.

 

Name a special day for you.

When I have money to shop, it makes me feel good or when I sell a painting, and can go buy a drink . . . I really don’t have a special day.

 

Where and when did your parents first meet?

Trinidad

 

Apart from creation, what other things do you like to do?

I like to entertain, cook, listen to music, and enjoy the countryside and nature. Oh, and I love to go out and socialize over a drink, as I “read” people . . . I’m psychic, you know.

 

What would you do if you weren’t scared?

Enjoy every day.

How would you describe your work and creative process?

I attack the work physically, emotionally and leave it in a pile and when I look at it later on, I still don’t know what it is. It’s like going into a trance. I don’t think about it, I just do it.

 

What is your favorite movie without naming it?

It’s about genocide in Africa.

 

A first time.

The first time I decided to come to the US alone to be an artist was very tough.

 

What advice would you tell your 15 or 23 year old self?

I haven’t grown up yet.

 

Where will you go for your next vacation?

A retreat in the jungle.

 

To what faults do you feel most indulgent?

Self-abuse, alcohol, not being as successful as I think I should be, working harder.

 

Your favorite artists, writers, musicians?

I have no favorites.

 

What is your best friend like?

My best friends are great . . . . supportive, encouraging, parental, someone I can depend on through good and bad times.

 

What natural gift would you most like to possess?

To have an even deeper connection to the psychic plane.
